| How do I place an order? What is the procedure for a custom necklace?

Custom Necklaces
- Choose "Traditional" or "Simplified" style
- Choose horizontal or vertical style, or individual characters
- Indicate pinyin name (up to 3 characters); i.e. Yang Chun Mao
- Send Chinese characters separately by mail or email to Linda Fielding. Please indicate your email address so you can be contacted if there are any questions, and so you
can receive your necklace photos.
- Use the Paypal link, or send a completed order form with your check or money order for $50 for each necklace (includes shipping) to: Linda Fielding; 10921 Ramshorn Road; Midlothian, VA 23113.
If you use paypal for your order/payment, please send
Linda Fielding an email and let her know you have placed an order via paypal.
- Type styles for your characters will be sent to you. Send Linda your choice of type style by return mail or email.
If you ordered a vertical or single character style necklace, include your chain style choice.
- Your order goes into production; if photos of your completed necklace are available, they will be emailed to you.
- The batch is mailed to Linda for inspection and packaging for shipment. You should receive your necklace(s)
about 4 weeks from the time your order goes into production.

| Yes, but there may be additional postage charges. For some countries, insurance is required.

| What are the necklaces made of, and how do I care for it? |
| The necklaces are made of silver with a white karat gold plating. Normal handling and use should not
be a problem. However, silver is a soft metal and excessive pressure can bend it. Therefore, parents should keep this in mind when giving the necklace to a
young child.

| May I have a "diamond" jewel on my custom necklace? |
| The synthetic jewel is only available on the "Traditional" and "Simplified" Yangchun necklaces.

| What kind of chain is included? |
| All necklaces are available with an 18" simple loop chain. Additional 18" chain styles are available for vertical and single character
necklaces only. Horizontal and two character separated necklaces require a chain that can be opened and attached to the pendant.

| May I have a different chain length? |
| Longer chain lengths are difficult for our Chinese contact to locate; when she does come across them, they are more expensive than the standard 18" length.
Since we have determined the pricing of these necklaces using the chain styles shown on this site, that is all we have available at this time. If you desire a different style or length of chain, you should be able to locate what you like in your area.

| May I combine shipping if I order more than one necklace? |
| The $5 shipping charge covers not only shipping to your home (1st class postage plus insurance), but also a portion of the cost to ship the batch of necklaces from China to
Linda for inspection and re-packaging to individual customers, as well as a portion of the bank wire transfer fee to China. We've learned with our previous orders (where many families ordered two necklaces and paid two shipping charges) that it was just enough to cover the overhead costs associated with providing
the necklaces.

| What do you mean by "batching" orders? Once I place my order, can I count on four weeks for delivery? |
| When we wait to place a number of necklace orders at the same time ("batching"), it greatly reduces our
overhead expenses, the most costly being shipping from China and the international wire transfer fee when we make payment for the necklaces. The more efficient
we are in reducing these costs, the greater donation we can contribute to the Yangchun Development Fund.
Once a batch order is placed, you should expect to receive your necklace in approximately 4 weeks after they go into production. Production starts on your necklace
once your choice of type style is emailed to China. All necklaces are inspected by our contact in China, and if time permits, she will email photos to Linda, who then
emails them to each family. When all the necklaces are ready, the shipment is mailed to Linda for personal inspection and then shipped to each family. Linda will
notify each family when their order has been mailed to them, so you will be looking for it. From production to receiving your necklace should take four weeks or less.
If there is an unavoidable delay, Linda will let you know.

| What if there is a problem with my order? |
| If you have any questions or concerns about your order, please notify Linda Fielding. So far, we've been able to obtain and email photo previews of each custom necklace completed before they ship from China. If there are any obvious errors,
we'd prefer to catch them before shipping. It is also exciting to see your custom design!
However, if we have a very large batch before a holiday deadline, it may not be possible to delay the shipment in order to take individual photos and wait for approvals
from families. It is our sincere intention to send photos every time, but we also want to make sure families receive their necklaces in time to surprise their loved ones.
Thanks for getting your orders in as soon as possible so we can continue to provide photos and shipments in time for holiday gift giving.

| Are the necklaces guaranteed? |
| We certainly want every customer to be happy with their purchase. If a defect in material or workmanship passes by our inspection, please let us know.

| What is the return/refund policy? |
If for some reason, you are unhappy with a Yangchun character necklace, it can be returned at your expense within 14 days, for a full $40 refund (no refund on shipping charges).
However, since the custom character necklaces are a specialty item, we cannot accept returns. As outlined above, we make every attempt to involve you in the process
and provide a preview of the item so that you will be pleased with your jewelry.

| How much of my purchase is donated to the Yangchun Development Fund? |
| Everything over our costs is donated to the YDF. Jewelry proceeds have been designated to help with the needs of the privately-run House of Grace, located next to the Yangchun SWI. So far, each necklace purchased has contributed more than $10 to the YDF.

| May I get a necklace for my other child(ren)'s SWI? |
| Absolutely! Just follow the procedure for ordering a custom necklace. The price would be the custom charge of $45 +
$5 shipping.
If a group of families wishes to order this same SWI necklace, we can reduce the price to $40 + $5 shipping for an initial order of 10 or more necklaces. Please contact Linda Fielding for
more information.
